Founders of Impact for People
Founders of Impact for People
Colleen Larsen and Jade Brummer co-founded Impact for People with a shared passion for amplifying the stories of unsung heroes making a difference across Africa. Colleen, inspired by her work in championing gender mainstreaming and inclusive leadership, saw the transformative power of storytelling through the Gender Mainstreaming Awards. She recognized a gap in spotlighting individuals driving positive change within their communities, which led to the creation of Impact for People. Her vision is to create a ripple effect of motivation and action, uplifting communities and fostering sustainable change by showcasing real-world examples of social impact.
Jade, with over a decade of experience working with inspirational leaders through Business Engage, brought Colleen’s vision to life by developing the platform. As a CEO of multiple marketing-related businesses, Jade is responsible for the branding, marketing, and overall platform execution.
Impact for People is a central resource where impactful leaders can apply to be showcased, offering them opportunities to sell resources, share knowledge, and book consultations and speaking engagements. By prioritising impact over titles, Jade and Colleen ensure that the platform highlights influential figures who may not yet be widely recognised but are making significant strides in each of their communities.
